Russula ( not to be confused with fly agaric.)
This type of mushroom does resemble the fly agaric mushroom, but here is how you can tell one from the other. Fly agarics have scales, little white bumps, on their caps, while Russula(shown above) does not. Also, fly agarics can come in yellow or reddish-orange. These Russulas are just in the color bright red, or sometimes even pink.

Morel (Morchella)
These are edible, but NEVER eat wild mushrooms! (see chanterelle for more dramatic way of stating this). Morels are actually considered rare.

Lactarius
This type of fungus is known for its 'milk', a viscous fluid that is produced and oozes from the gills of only these mushrooms.

AuriculariaThis fungus is famous for its jelly-like feeling. Also, the name Auricularia came from the fact that some species of it resemble human ears!

Chanterelle
These are considered edible, but NEVER EAT WILD MUSHROOMS!!! Chanterelles have a faint smell of apricots.
